One of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling, standing tall since 1899, the Goomtee tea estate is situated in the south of Kurseong. Grown at 4200 feet, this Indian single estate tea is medium-bodied, pleasantly supple with delicious tart-sweet flavors. Taste akin to Mirabelle plum and nectarines greet the palate gradually giving way to notes of grapefruit with subte musky undertones. Muted oaky accent ends the cup on a distinctive experience of a marvellous Second Flush harvest.
