Owned by the Mohan family, Seeyok tea estate is a part of Tea Promoters India, a portfolio of premium tea gardens. The family-run business now includes the third generation of the Mohan family, blending experience and youthful innovation. The estate spans 406 hectares, with tea planted on 154 hectares interspersed with lemongrass, neem, and other plants that nourish the soil and prevent erosion during monsoon rains. This harmonious blend of flora contributes to the estate’s lush, biodiverse environment, supporting an array of wildlife,including birds, boar, and deer, thus making Seeyok a paradise for both nature and tea lovers.

Seeyok is one of the oldest certified organic tea gardens in Darjeeling, having converted to organic farming in 1994.
